African Students' Organization

I was born in Freetown, Sierra Leone and lived there for nine years. My family was forced to flee from our country in May of 1997 because of the conflict that was going on at the time. We lived in a neighboring country Guniea for three months and then moved to the United States in September of 1997. I am currently a Senior majoring in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Mathematics and I will be graduating in May of 2010. I am definitely looking to get involved in this organization and I hope to one day go back and help develop my home nation of Sierra Leone.
